Hot and heavy
The Air Jordan 8 was one heavy beast. Its base was clearly close to its predecessor but it had a lot more details, color and accents. It had cross-over velcro/leather straps and was so padded your foot got surprised. Due to the thick padding the shoe was heavy and also easily got very warm. Many ponder that the heat could have been the reason why Michael was bothered with athlete's foot infections during the season.

The Air Jordan 8 was first retroed in 2003. kept it short and sweet with the Air Jordan 8 retro release. There were only 4 colorways released in total with two mids and two lows. The Air Jordan 8 retros were one of the most anticipated retros ever released.
